Maid Of Honour Pattern Release and CAL
This week i released the first pattern for my wedding series, Maid of Honour.
The combination of a semi lace body with a lacy shell border really makes this pattern delicate but classy.
Although designed with 4ply/fingering/#1 weight yarn, this pattern can easily be made with 8ply/dk/#3 weight yarn or 10ply/aran/#4 weight yarn. There are instructions within the pattern to alter the size if you don't wish to have an enormous shawl.
Using 4ply/fingering/#1 weight yarn the shawl measures, 66 Inches (168cm) x 32 Inches (81cm) once blocked.
The sample above has been made with Wolltraum My Melody in Wild Horses, 200g/760m (purchased from Blayney Sew and More here in Australia)
This pattern has been fully tested by some wonderful ladies.
