Happy 60th birthday mum! This month, my mum turns 60 and to celebrate I am sharing a free crochet pattern with you, The Diamond Jubilee Cowl. Honestly my mum is my world. She is my best friend, pillar of strength and fills my heart full of love. She is everything I wish to be. Hardships can shape us, and it is no exception for my mu m. She was a single mother to 3 girls and is a survivor of DV. Growing up, I saw mum as a strong woman who was invincible, but as an adult I know she was just being strong for her girls, yet when alone would have crumbled. Her love was and is endless, no matter what. She i s always there for us and now her grandchildren. I have been fortunate to have a mother that always put her children first, and loved unconditionally even if it felt like she w as being too strict.
